Because we’re on a mission to change the conversation around menopause for women everywhere, we’re proud to announce that Womaness is the first American founding partner of GenM, a global organization bringing together brands and companies to improve the menopause experience for all.
Based in the United Kingdom, GenM was co-founded by Heather Jackson and Sam Simister, two businesswomen who found menopause hard to navigate, and suddenly felt invisible to brands and organizations with whom they had built loyalty over the years. Together, they founded the organization with a clear mission: to unite responsible brands and companies to improve the menopause experience, normalize the conversation, and support underserved menopausal consumers and employees.
“Menopause ignorance has gone on for too long and it’s our joined responsibility as brands and employers to wake up and unite in representing those in the menopause and their support network. This first-of-its-kind movement is raising awareness, educating, and driving real change to the change, and we’re proud Womaness is a founding partner,” said Heather Jackson.
“We’re partnering with GenM to change the conversation around menopause, around the world, together” - Sally Mueller
By engaging brands and organizations in the menopause arena, GenM’s collective of Founding Partners will provide the non-medical support that many women seek in order to learn about this transition and build support systems that can help them own and control their menopause, their way.
“We’re partnering with GenM to change the conversation around menopause, around the world, together,” said Womaness co-founder Sally Mueller.
Added co-founder Michelle Jacobs: “We exist to help women in menopause tap into their fierceness, sexiness, realness, and agelessness. Because women at this stage of life are the coolest, smartest, most interesting women we know.”
By aligning with GenM, Womaness expands its commitment to being a voice for change for perimenopausal and menopausal women everywhere. And it’s just one more step toward menopositivity for all. #wearegenm
