Womaness Woman: Florence C. Macauley

The AgeWise Home founder talks transformation, transition, and looking forward to what's next

By Womaness Editors     2-Minute Read

Florence C. MacauleyLike our founders here at Womaness, Florence C. Macauley combined knowledge from a decades-long career with lived experience to create a pro-aging business. After going through surgery that prevented her from lifting, bending, or walking stairs, she realized the problems aging people and people with disabilities can face at home. She started her consultancy, AgeWise Home, to offer age-in-place and concierge services for the elderly, people with disabilities, and multi-generational families who want to live safely without sacrificing the freedom and comfort of living at home.

Her strength and compassion drive her to help prepare her clients for the ever-changing needs of aging families and the demands on caregivers. She is a Womaness woman in the truest sense—taking her challenges and turning them into opportunities. Read on for a glimpse into what makes her, her.
