By Womaness Editors 2-Minute Read
Dominique Sachse got her start in the spotlight as a Houston news anchor, dominating the airwaves for 28 years (she's won 3 Emmys!)…and she's showing no signs of slowing down. These days, she uses her influence to encourage and inspire women via her popular YouTube and social media channels. Her passion is helping you live a happy, beautiful, purpose-driven life, which is the central focus of her very inspirational book, Life Makeover: Embrace The Bold, Beautiful, and Blessed YOU.
As a woman in our stage of life, she's also one of our favorite beauty influencers—and she is glowing. It seems the admiration is mutual: she named Fountain of Glow in her video featuring her top five favorite vitamin C serums, and has also shown love for our Let's Neck and Daily V Soothe solutions. (We're so grateful, Dominique!) Take a peek into her daily life and her mindset below.
First thing I do each morning
“Head straight to my coffee machine and brew a large cup with whipped coconut creamer and a packet of Stevia.”
Three things I always keep in/on my nightstand
“My reading glasses, a book, and my earplugs.”
My go-to beauty hack or wellness ritual
“Getting at least eight hours of sleep at night and yoga during the day.”
“Give yourself a break. There's no such thing as perfect. Strive for excellence in all that you do and appreciate the climb as much as the summit.”
My inner age (the age I really feel) and why
“40s. I feel you've achieved a certain level of wisdom in that decade, but your body is still hanging on, and your sex drive is kickin'.”
Advice I would give to my younger self
“Give yourself a break. There's no such thing as perfect. Strive for excellence in all that you do and appreciate the climb as much as the summit.”
We don’t believe in “The Pause.” Tell us, what are you not pausing on?
"I am not pausing on life. Our minds and bodies transition through the decades. I choose to honor that woman within by stimulating her with a strong spiritual connection to God, physical movement, and proactive thoughts and choices."
Word that best describes your Womaness
"Bold."
