Our answers to your most-asked questions about our bestselling bullet vibrator.

By Womaness Editors    2-Minute Read

How to use a bullet vibratorWondering how to make the most of Gold Vibes, our top-selling lipstick-size bullet vibrator? Here are our answers to your, ahem, seven buzziest questions.

1. How do I charge it?

Plug the USB cable into a USB charging point and attach the magnetic connector to the base of the device.

The device will take approximately 60 minutes to charge—and will give you up to 60 minutes of play.

2. How do I power it on and off?

Press and hold the power button on the base of the device for 3 seconds to turn it on. Then repeat the same action to turn it off.

3. How do I correctly use it?

You can apply a dab of a water-based lubricant like Daily V Soothe by Womaness to Gold Vibes before sliding the protective purple sleeve onto it.

That goes for you, too. A water-based lubricant applied “down there” always helps!

For extra stimulation, you can take off the purple sleeve and just use the gold bullet.

Press 6x for Pattern C

    How do I clean it?

To clean the purple silicone sleeve, remove it from the vibe and wash it with sex toy-friendly soap and warm water or with a cleaner or wipe designed for sex toys. Leave it to air dry.

Clean the gold vibe with cleaner or with wipes designed just for sex toys and allow it to air dry.

How do I activate the travel lock?

A travel lock function keeps your vibe off until you’re ready (and prevents it from accidentally powering on while you’re on the go).

To activate the travel lock, double-click the power button when the device is switched off. The device will buzz once the lock is activated.

To deactivate, double-click the power button. Alternatively, plugging the device into a USB port will also deactivate it.

How does a vibrator really help my libido?

Yes! Studies show that vibrators can increase blood flow to the genitals, which can help women with issues such as arousal or orgasm problems. Emily Morse, Doctor of Human Sexuality and member of our Expert Panel, puts it this way: "Vibrators are one of the single most effective inventions that have actually helped women with their sex drive.”
