Womaness Woman: Neha Ruch

Get to know the thought leader focusing on women, work, parenting, and identity.

By Womaness Editors     2-Minute Read

Meet Neha Ruch, the visionary behind Mother Untitled, the leading platform for ambitious women leaning into family life. Through her influential work as an author, sought-after speaker, and thought leader, Neha champions a rebrand of stay-at-home parenthood, shifting it into a new narrative of both personal and professional growth. Her USA Today bestselling book, THE POWER PAUSE: How to Plan a Career Break After Kids—and Come Back Stronger Than Ever, is igniting conversations on women, work, parenting, and identity—and we’re delighted to celebrate her as a Womaness Woman empowering women to shape their own paths.

First thing I do each morning

Meditate for 5 minutes with Insight Timer.

Three things I always keep on my nightstand

A bottle of water, a cup of hot water (that's no longer hot by morning), and an array of vitamins.

My go-to beauty hack or wellness ritual

It's not fancy, but I spray Eucalyptus spray (it's available on Amazon) in my shower and it makes me very present for those five minutes.”

“I'm 40 this year, and I feel 40—grateful for the experiences, even the hard ones, content with where I am, and still excited for the next half of life.”

My inner age (the age I really feel) and why

I'm 40 this year, and I feel 40—grateful for the experiences, even the hard ones, content with where I am, and still excited for the next half of life.

Advice I would give to my younger self

Drink less [alcohol]. And when you think of someone meaningful to you, write them, because even if they're not so present in this season of life, you'll want that connection one day.”

We don’t believe in “The Pause.” Tell us, what are you not pausing on?

At Mother Untitled, and in my work writing THE POWER PAUSE, I have a different relationship to the word pause. But I agree, a career pause is not a life pause. I'm not pausing on learning new things—currently it's how to feel stronger in my body.

What's your favorite Womaness product?

Plump It Up—my introduction to retinol that's gentle enough for my sensitive skin.

Word that best describes your Womaness

‘Depthness’ – bringing thoughtfulness, reflection, and meaning to everything I do.”
